Sqirl recently got a call from Design Miami, with a request that we partner to do all of the food and beverage for their design fair in LA. It had been a minute since Sqirl had done F&B at Frieze back in 2020, and this project involved us taking over and converting the kitchen of a Paul R. Williams-Designed Home in Bel Air (listed at over 20 million).
After the installation of new walls, the fixing of their refrigerators and walk ins, and a million other logistical road blocks, we opened up a cafe in bel air for 5 days straight, serving the guests and staff alike with breakfast classics, pastries, espresso, and down by the pool, a Japanese whisky and Tinned fish menu.
We were in good company with designers like Peter shire, galleries like Marta, and so many other exhibitors we love.
